Antigua Cruise Port to Host School Supplies Distribution Event
The Antigua Cruise Port, in conjunction with Heritage Quay tenants, is hosting a back-to-school supply fair to wrap up its summer program of community events, according to a news release.
On a first-come, first-served basis, the port team will provide students with free school supplies such as pens, pencils and notepads courtesy of Global Ports Holding Plc, according to a statement from the port. .
On the day of the fair, Ama Bella, a tenant of Heritage Quay who sells backpacks, pencil cases and other school supplies, will offer students a 10% discount on the entire store and a gift with purchase , and Romel’s Barber Shop, another Heritage Quay establishment, will offer students a 5% discount on haircuts. The event will also include games, music and other activities for children.
