India’s REIL launches a tender for the supply of 200,000 silicon PV cells – pv magazine International

The Indian company Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd. (REIL) has issued a tender for the supply of five-busbar monocrystalline and multicrystalline silicon solar cells with a minimum power of 4.62W.
It aims to supply 200,000 cells in total. He has a preference for cells with silicon nitride plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (dark blue color) as anti-reflective coating.
REIL will only accept bids from its approved suppliers for the tender. New suppliers will be considered for development if they go through a supplier registration process, have their samples approved, and demonstrate compliance with technical and commercial terms, as per the solicitation document.
The duration of the contract extends until March 31, 2022. The cells must be delivered in two batches within two weeks of delivery authorization by REIL.
