Total circulating (BTC) hit a big milestone on Monday morning, a year and a half after Bitcoin’s last halving, as 90% of the maximum total supply was mined.
Current data from Blockchain.com shows Bitcoin in circulation reached 18.899 million on Monday, meaning there is only 10% of the total supply left to mine. While it took around 12 years to mine the first 90% of BTC, the rest will take a little longer.
